Helping people thrive

Impact

In 2017/18 we invested more money to the community than ever before, achieving our £1M target.  We also won a national award for best practice in grant-making and we achieved exemplar status in the quality accreditation kitemark that UK Community Foundations are required to work towards.

Our 27 years of expert knowledge makes donors' committment to East End easy, relevant and effective.  Our experience enables us to connect donors, big or small, with people and projects that are delivering essential community services.  We use bespoke giving options that match donors' needs and those of the local community.

Our monitoring and evaluation system enables us to measure our donors' investments and the performance of the grantees.  Over 400 residents directly benefit from our support and almost 400 accessed meaningful employment. 2,200 attended training to learn a new skill and 752 gained a qualification.  13,000 community activities have been delivered enabling people from all ages to get together.
