Helping people thrive

Far East Consortium and East End Community Foundation partner to raise money for charity

Far East Consortium and East End Community Foundation (EECF) had a successful fundraiser in London, raising £7,000 to address social isolation amongst the elderly and to provide access to employment and training for young people in the East End. It was a fantastic turnout and a very worthy cause. The event had 85 attendees arrive to a new iconic London Skybar, Jin Bo Law on the 17th September, and they enjoyed an evening filled with great company, an opportunity to learn about the charity and a silent auction which contributed to the amount raised on the evening.

Tracey Walsh, East End Community Foundation states “A great event in a fantastic new venue, with FEC’s guests taking a genuine interest in our work.  EECF will ensure the £7000 raised on the night will benefit those living in need in the East End.”

John Connolly, Head of UK development for FEC commented “Thank you so much to all who donated, it was a lovely evening and we are over joyed with the amount raised for such a worthy cause.”
