Helping people thrive

Development Officer (Permanent)

East End Community Foundation (EECF) is excited to be looking for a Development Officer to join our Development Team. EECF funds grass roots organisations, directly delivering projects and working with local people, businesses, charities and public bodies to raise educational achievement, enhance employability and increase social cohesion.

Are you a skilled communicator, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of people at different levels? Do you enjoy attending events, networking and managing relationships?

The Development Officer will report into the Development Director. Your role will involve supporting the Development team to implement an engaging donor stewardship programme, and will nurture and increase the charity's donor base using a wide range of engaging events and communication methods, including social media, to build relationships and develop engagement. You will attend events to make new connections, as well as setting up meetings with potential donors to help secure funding.

We are looking for someone with proven excellence in written and verbal communication, as well as an interest in connecting with new people and sharing East End’s mission. If you have a background in major donor fundraising, public relations, and/or communication, this would be a plus!
