We are delighted to share the exciting news of a new charitable fund under management. The CWG Grants Programme, which re-launched in February 2024, marks a significant opportunity for local voluntary organisations in Tower Hamlets to access vital funding, with grants of up to £10,000.
Tracey Walsh, EECF’s Chief Executive said: “We are incredibly pleased to welcome CWG as a fundholder. The fund demonstrates their commitment to invest in local grassroots organisations. They are a great example of a purpose-led company committed to supporting the communities on their doorstep.”
Committed to creating a positive and lasting impact that goes beyond the buildings and places it creates, CWG’s generous £300,000 fund, which is aligned with the firm’s social value approach, is focused on three core themes; Education, Skills and Employment, and Wellbeing and Biodiversity.
Describing the motivation for CWG to outsource the management of its charitable fund, Jane Hollinshead, Chief People Officer said:
“We are pleased to be partnering with EECF to deliver the CWG Community Grant Programme, their reputation locally as a trusted, knowledgeable and well respected grant maker will assist us in ensuring our grants can support those organisations in Tower Hamlets who need it the most, making a positive and lasting impact”.
