This is our Chairman Bronek Masojada, in one of his first formal engagements as Sheriff of the City of London. He was elected in June, along with Alderwoman Dame Susan Langley, and took office in September. We couldn’t be prouder!
As part of his annual term as Sherriff, Bronek is making it a key priority to improve the employment chances of young people in the East End. He’s developing a powerful programme, bringing together Corporate partners, recruitment experts and frontline organisations to give young people the consistent, expert support they need to securing good quality jobs. This work has far-reaching benefits – empowering young people, their families and the wider community.
Tracey Walsh, EECF CEO, said, ‘We’re absolutely delighted at Bronek’s new role as City of London Sheriff. It’s a testament to his hard work and commitment and there is no doubt he will do an amazing job. We’re also really excited about the opportunities his new appointment may open up for EECF and the increased impact we can make to the lives of thousands of local people – both now and for future generations.’
